The boys and I went to the ODU football game last night.

Big Blue lost, but we had a good time...

Sawyer had moments of uphoria, Ben was studying the game, and Will was there for the consessions. All after my own heart!

Several weeks ago, God literally pulled Dad Gaab from the brink of death. I am not capable of knowing the mind of God, no one is, so we do not know why God gave us this extra time with Dad. However, the result of that miracle gave all of his children and grandchildren (too many to try and count for this post) the opportunity to be with Dad at least one more time and share with him all we wanted to say. This was an incredible gift from God because several of us live in different parts of the country.

It's hard to believe we will not see Dad again on this side of Heaven. He is well-loved and will be greatly missed.

Preparing for a Funeral

Last Tuesday, Dad Gaab was rushed to the hospital unresponsive and in critical condition. The doctors encouraged the family members present to summon the rest of the family because they believed he would pass away within twelve to twenty-four hours.
