WJG 1929-2010

Several weeks ago, God literally pulled Dad Gaab from the brink of death.  I am not capable of knowing the mind of God, no one is, so we do not know why God gave us this extra time with Dad.  However, the result of that miracle gave all of his children and grandchildren (too many to try and count for this post) the opportunity to be with Dad at least one more time and share with him all we wanted to say.  This was an incredible gift from God because several of us live in different parts of the country.

It's hard to believe we will not see Dad again on this side of Heaven.  He is well-loved and will be greatly missed.

Well done, good and faithful son. The legacy of a good and loving father is one that nothing on earth can match and I am thankful that you have had both an earthly and heavenly example of such. The homesickness for both will be overwhelming sometimes but there is a deep peace that abides in knowing there's a fantastic family reunion ahead of you. My prayers are with you as the days approach and the memories flood through you. I love you guys and am so so sorry for your loss
